A person is never "the problem", the problem is
"the problem".
Problems are trying and stressful circumstances
and events in our lives which trigger some kind of
reaction for the people experiencing them. Sometimes
our reactions are appropriate and healthy, but often
we react in a way that is maladaptive, unproductive,
or makes the problem feel worse. Often we
erroneously interpret our reactions as "the problem"
or others many unfairly tell us that we "have"...
or "are a problem."
Whether the circumstantial problem is small
or traumatic, a good therapist can help you accept
that your reactions are normal and to be expected in
the face of the circumstances you face, or events
and experiences that you have endured.
Once the real problem is identified, anyone
can use their innate strength and wisdom to change
his/her reactions to one that is more adaptive,
productive way to cope, and sometimes the real
problem itself can be changed. This is what good
therapy s all about.
Who Can Use A Therapist?

people and circumstances they encounter in their
lives.
- Anyone who is willing to learn new ways of
feeling, thinking, and acting, so they can cope with
challenges and stress in their lives in a more
victorious way.

Ways That I Help My Clients
Therapy is YOUR effort with the help of a guide
(the therapist). You will be led through an
exploratory process that will help you to find your
innate skills, traits, and strengths, and learn new
skills, which you can put to work for yourself to
make real change in your life experience.
READ THE FINE PRINT: THERE ARE NO TEXTBOOK SOLUTIONS!!
A good therapist
is never an expert who tells you what the magic
answers are. Therapy is not a "one size fits
all" program . I WILL HELP YOU FIND WHAT'S RIGHT FOR
YOU. Therapy is YOUR journey, and the therapist is your
GUIDE.
